Made of high-quality, polished silver-plated pewter, this Zeeland cutlery is traditionally made in the Netherlands. With a special spring, it works like a real mussel shell, allowing you to easily enjoy mussels straight from the shell. The shells are derived from the "Pétoncles noirs". The pétoncle is a small version of the Saint-Jacques scallop. It lives mainly in France, on the coast of Charente, Maritime and Brittany. The pétoncle noir has a burgundy black colour, has two curved flaps and a cut-out earpiece at the hinge.
The shells come packaged in packs of four in a luxurious black box with a certificate of authenticity. The shells are a pure tin product and are handmade in the Netherlands.
Especially suitable for fish appetizers and other snacks!
Shells are not allowed in the oven or dishwasher.
